Verse of the week:
I read in a study once that God’s word is to be feasted on so that it can become a part of us that we carry with us wherever we go. Enjoy this food!
“Therefore, I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love and sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:6-7

What we’re listening to
Describing the relationship between music and how I view and connect to the world is trying to explain a feeling that is "beyond words"—which is exactly why I turn to music in the first place. A poignant lyric feels like a divine whisper; when a lyric hits just right, it transforms from sound to a lived truth. During my time as a worship leader, it’s become beautifully obvious that sharing music with others connects our human spirits. Shared pain, grief, peace, overwhelming joy and love!
