Verse of the week: Colossians 1:9-12

I read in a study once that God’s word is to be feasted on so that it can become a part of us that we carry with us wherever we go. Enjoy this food!

“We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thank to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the kingdom of light.” Colossians 1:9-12

What we’re listening to

Describing the relationship between music and how I view and connect to the world is trying to explain a feeling that is "beyond words"—which is exactly why I turn to music in the first place. A poignant lyric feels like a divine whisper; when a lyric hits just right, it transforms from sound to a lived truth. During my time as a worship leader, it’s become beautifully obvious that sharing music with others connects our human spirits. Shared pain, grief, peace, overwhelming joy and love!
